Topic: Assessing Core Competencies
The foundational values of Pepperdine University’s mission are purpose, service, and leadership. These overarching values are found in both the academic and co-curricular programs. Our integrative assessment approach to the five core competencies has allowed us to examine oral communication within our mission at both the graduate and undergraduate level.

We’ll discuss what PLNU has learned from gathering core competency data and explain how longitudinal analysis has begun to inform curricular improvements.
