Homeschoolers: They're Not Who We Think They Are

Stereotypically thought of as antisocial or unprepared for college, homeschooled students can run a risk of being viewed through a deficit lens. Through Social Capital Theory, we share the experiences of homeschoolers transitioning to a university. They see this transition uniquely, and innovative strategies can further support this growing population.
